I’ve always been a sucker for the combination of sugar, cinnamon, and butter on anything. That’s what I loved most about the peach cobblers my mother baked every August with Niagara region’s best peaches. What I didn’t love was being stuck with days of leftovers. That’s why these caramelized air fryer peaches have become such a favorite — they deliver all the buttery, spiced flavor I crave, but in a small-batch dessert that disappears the same day.

Substitutions & Variations
- Cinnamon peaches are an excellent flavor combination; however, feel free to blend in other spices such as nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, or even pumpkin spice.
- Vanilla ice cream is a classic accompaniment to these air-fryer peaches, but you can also try whipped cream, mascarpone, or my homemade caramel sauce for a different twist.
- Switch up the fruit: Experiment with nectarines, plums, or pears for countless variations that prove why air fryer desserts are so versatile.
How to Make Air Fryer Peaches

1. Whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
2. Halve the peaches and brush the glaze generously into the centers.

3. Arrange the peaches cut-side up in the air fryer basket.
4. Baste with more glaze halfway through cooking for extra caramelization.

5. Serve warm, topped with crushed pistachios and vanilla ice cream if desired.
Tips for the Best Air-Fryer Peaches
- If you can, choose freestone peaches; they are easier to halve and pit.
- Make sure to start with room-temperature peaches; they will caramelize more evenly.
- No need to preheat; this recipe is a gentle bake to yield soft and delicate peaches.
- Use soft silicone tongs to handle the peaches; an air fryer peach is exceptionally soft, and you don’t want to damage it.
Storage
These air fryer peaches are best enjoyed warm, straight from the air fryer. If you do have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave, and if you’ve saved any extra cinnamon butter glaze, warm it as well and drizzle it over the fruit before serving. It’s the easiest way to revive your caramelized peaches.

Recipe FAQs
I recommend using only fresh peaches, as they will give you better caramelization. Frozen peaches contain a lot of water, and even when thawed, they result in a very mushy air-fried peach.
This depends on how many peaches are in your air fryer basket, but typically for 4 halves it takes about 12 to 15 minutes at 350°F, until the peaches are soft and syrupy.
No, unlike other desserts in the air fryer, these peaches need a gentle bake. The purpose is not to get them crispy, but rather to achieve a soft, syrupy, and jammy texture.
